Langkawi has a very special spot in my heart, i remember coming here when i was knee high to a grasshopper, when i first arrived i remember vividly that it was dark and very isolated from the rest of the world.
Far that fact i think thats what makes Langkawi very special, its only 45min by flight from Kuala Lumpur yet its a completely different part of Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir really had the eye in seeing this place flourish to be what it is today.
Well im here only for a monthly meeting but its truly a treat to experiance "island time" poeple here are so relaxed and seem to take life on a different perspective.
I envy those that are able to work at Sheraton Langkawi, under the control of Starwood, we are truly confident that when you come here, you will truly experience what Langkawi really has to offer.
